How to Duplicate or Copy a Post entry for a series?
-
I am creating a series of blog entries (you know, Part I, Part II, etc.)
I have things set up now in the Part I Post the way I would want it for All the rest in the series. How can I simply Duplicate or Copy this Part I post for the rest of the parts?
There has to be an easier way than cut-n-paste between edit sessions?thanks in Advance!

merlyn9,
Are you talking about copying the formatting and some of the images or links? If so, just switch to HTML, copy all, open a new draft, delete the parts you’ll want to change (put placeholders like “text about day 1 here”), save the draft. Then you can copy the “master-plan” draft to the HTML of new posts part2, 3, 4… -
Sorry, I don’t know a magic fix.
I mostly use it for copying tables or columns so I don’t have to write the code all over again. Tags and cats would be different for each of my posts.
