How to eanble comment subscriptions?

  “When you leave a comment on a WordPress.com blog that has comment subscriptions enabled” I’d like to do this but am having trouble finding a setting that says “Enable comment subscriptions”… is this setting worrded in some other way that I’m not getting?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Settings > discussion toward the bottom right above the Avatars section.

  It is an “opt out” sort of thing, “Don’t allow… ” so if it is NOT checked then it is on.

  Thanks. I was thinking about that setting, but decided that “Don’t allow visitors…” was only refering to well… visitors and not existing participants.

  Maybe it it said something like “Don’t allow comments to be subscribed to.”

  I agree it is a poor choice of wording.
