How to edit blog on home page

I’m not new to computers but I cannot for the life of me figure out how in the world, when I go to edit the homepage, how to edit the ‘canned’ blogs you have there. Like ‘my first blog’ or whatever the second one is that deals ‘all about me.’ How do I get in there to personalize them? I go to the ‘write’ and it’s a blank page. I clicked on the blocks these paragraphs are in and the only thing it lets me do it type in a small title.

In general, you might try clicking in a slightly different location to open up the block of content that you want to edit. If you are seeing a small box, that is likely just for heading text.
Clicking on content is not the only way of accessing a specific block of content. Here is a link to more information about how the block editor works:

If your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, these directions might not be 100% accurate for your site. When I reply to a support post that does not include a website address, I always like to add that this forum supports sites hosted with WordPress.com.
