How to Edit Content in Subscription Email

    Hello,

    I have a few subscribers to my blog and I want to be able to edit the email that goes out to them. I want to personalize the email and get rid of some items.

    Currently it shows them:

    “New post on Ruffles & Feathers

    Did You Say Ruffles and Feathers?

  • Hi there!

    If you’re talking about emails which are sent as updates for new posts, I’m afraid their layout can’t be customized. The purpose of such emails is to deliver post content to your subscribers.

    You can, however, choose to send either full post or only a summary as an email. This option is available under “For each article in a feed, show” from Dashboard > WP Admin > Settings > Reading.

    Also, the subscription notification email that a new subscriber gets can also be customized. Look for “Blog follow email text” at the above settings page.
