How to edit DNS once I transferred the domain to a new hoster

    I transferred my domain from wordpress to the host OVH.
    If I check the address http://www.foodprints-artwork.com I’m redirected to the wordpress page saying “NOT FOUND you’re looking for something that isn’t here”.
    I thought it was a problem about the DNS. So OVH sent me the first and the second DNS (dnsxxx.ovh.net, nsxxx.ovh.net).
    How can I edit DNS in wordpress? What i have to write here? :
    MX <pref> <host>
    TXT <text>
    CNAME <subdomain> <host>
    A <subdomain> <IP>
    SRV <_service._protocol> <priority> <weight> <port> <domain>

    Hi there,

    You can edit your domain’s name servers (to point it to another web host) by following this guide: Change Name Servers

    I followed the instructions, but I finally found that the transfer is still pending, so probably that’s why the website is not visible.

    Hi there,

    Ah yes, sorry about that! If you’ve already started the domain transfer process, you’ll need to wait for that to finish before you can make any further changes to your domain settings. Your new domain registrar will be able to help you with that process.

    Hi,
    now my domain has been transferred, but still i can’t see it.
    Here the website: http://foodprints-artwork.com NOT FOUND…
    If follow your instructions when I’m inside the domain manager there are no domains in the list!
    What do I have to do?

    Hi there,

    From what I can see, all your domain settings are good, and I can see the site fine. The reason why you see that message though is because you have no blog posts currently… so it’s saying that there are no blog posts found, not that your site cannot be found.

    You can start blogging by going to Posts>Add New in your site’s Admin Dashboard.

    Alternatively, if you mean to set up a static homepage (instead of displaying your blog feed on your homepage) you can learn more about how to set up a static homepage here: http://learn.wordpress.com/bonus-round-get-a-home-page/

    Hi,
    I thought that since i transferred the domaine from wordpress to OVH, i should be able to upload the site i created and not to just post on the blog. Isn’t it like that?
    If not what do I have to do to upload the pages i created?

    I can see you have transferred your domain by looking at the public domain info here:
    http://who.is/whois/foodprints-artwork.com

    However, transferring your domain is not the same as transferring your site, if that is your intention.
