How to edit front page to show post titles on Scratchpad Theme
-
Firstly, I am not using a static front page for my theme rather i’m using the “show your latest post” option. However, I would like for the titles of those posts to show rather than the entire post in which one can click on the titles to read the entire post. Is this possible on this theme?

Hey needwaterblog
It sounds like the More Tag will be the right tool here :)
That will let you select how much of your post is displayed on the front page of your site, with a link for people to click to read the rest.
It won’t list out just the title (unless you put the More Tag at the very beginning of the post).
Another option would be Custom CSS. With a Premium Plan or Business Plan you could use this snippet to hide post content on the home page:
.home .entry-content { display: none; } -
Second idea – you could also use a static front page on your site and load the posts onto that page with the Display Posts Shortcode. That would output a list of titles, although the formatting would be different.
