How to edit individual images in the new media library format

  I am finding that with the new format for media library, I am unable to edit individual images anymore (crop, rotate, etc…) The edit function appeared at the bottom of the page when first uploaded, but when pushed, offered no option other that to return to or clear from library. What has happened to edit?
