how to edit summary and reduce image size on homepage?

  i want all my posts to show up on my Entreprise theme, but as excerpts, the thing is that i want to edit the summary option, any help please? thanks

  You can split text by inserting the more tag into your posts. The result will be only excerpts on the front page of the blog. The more tag insertion is independent of the “summary” setting which is only for your RSS Feed and that settings is here > Settings > Pages
  The size of images is under your control. You optimize and presize all images offline to fit into the maximum displayed image size of your theme prior to uploading them. When the corpper is not brought into play no image quality is lost.

  Yikes! This is wrong Settings > Pages
  I meant to type Settings > Reading
