How to edit text in footer???
-
I’m probably missing something very obvious….but…..How do I edit the text I have in the footer? When I originally put it there I did it by dragging the “text” widget over to the other side of the widget page & then typed what I wanted. I now need to change something but I can’t seem to access the original text. Please help. Thanks, in advance.

The problem is that I can’t seem to get back to the original screen where I typed the info &, therefore, can’t delete it. What am I missing?

Yes. I’ve found that. But, how do I access the original text that I typed in when I originally typed the footer (which I did under >Appearance>Widgets)? Once I get to that I can change what needs to be changed or delete it & start all over.

You have to locate the text widget you placed that text in and then click on the text widget to open it.

Go to Appearance → Widgets and then click on the widget labeled “First Footer Widget Area” and then also click the arrow to the right side where it says “Text.”

YIPPEE! That did it. I was missing the “clicking on the arrow to the right”.
Thanks so much. -
