How to edit the mobile menu only on a gutenverse theme?

I am trying to edit the mobile version of my menu to display the links centered on the screen and edit the text to be bigger.

I am also trying to center the hamburger menu icon on the screen.

I’ve been unable to find a solution to edit these. Please help.

  • Good morning –

Will you share more details about this request to center the hamburger menu? What goals would the change help you meet?

It’s possible to do that with CSS. This solution should be weighed out carefully as it could potentially cause issues with other areas of the site (since we are deviating from what we know will perform well and look correct). The CSS would be something that you implement and manage on your own, too. For example, the rest of the menu items might look odd when the hamburger is expanded, and now you have another layer of customization to sort out. Eventually, as themes update, this will need additional attention from you, too. If you ever need to downgrade your hosting plan, this CSS access will be revoked and will no longer work on the site’s front end.

The mobile themes are preformatted by our team to be optimized for site performance on smaller devices. The hamburger menu is shown in the upper right corner by design. This is where we naturally expect to see it as visitors to the site.
