How to edit the source code of my wordpress homepage

  I want to insert the HTML tag between the and tags of the source code of the ‘homepage’ of my wordpress website https://techstud12.wordpress.com for verifying my ownership of this website in a network. May I please know how can i do this?

  It seems that we have already replied to you here, letting you know it’s not possible to edit the HTML of your site but you can verify your domain with Google and other search engines adding the HTML tag in the settings.

  Are you having any issues doing that?
