How to eliminat line between two block
-
I had a long list (200 entries single-spaced), then I added an entry, which created two blocks separated by a blank line.
I can’t figure out how to eliminate that line! Could I merge the two blocks, group them, or just delete the line in html? I’ve tried all 3, but nothing works. What’s the best way? The list needs to be single spaced.

Try clicking in the second line, pressing backspace, then holding down shift while you press enter. That should keep the lines together without making a new block.

Tried that, but it moves the text to the end of the previous line of text. I want it up against the previous line, as in Verse, but without the indents.
This started when the entire long block became separated into two blocks when I pressed Return.
Now should I change the block to text, giving me entries separated by a blank line? I need to keep the text together. Too bad there is not a line spacing format button like the ones for Bold and Underline, i.e., single, 1.5 and double spacing as in Word. This is much needed in the WordPress Block editor.
I will experiment with Pre-formatted Text.

Thank you. I solved this problem by deleting blocks, pasting them into TextEdit, then repasting as plain text. Worked for me. I had to do some minor formatting: bold and italics.
