How to eliminate archives, meta and "leave a reply"?

  Using Twenty Ten theme, I was to eliminate “Archives” and “Meta” from all pages, and eliminate “Leave a reply.” I’m using this site not as a blog but as a small business website. I don’t need the goodies you offer for bloggers. Can I eliminate these items, and how? Does the CSS have to be modified? I don’t know how to do that so I’d need some help.

  Those are the default widgets for your theme. You can eliminate them by creating a blank text widget, dragging it to the sidebar, and then saving it (without entering any text).

  This will remove the default widgets, and your sidebar area will be clear.
