How to eliminate Permalink for home page

  My home page (www.mydomain.com) now has a permalink of http://www.mydomain.com/title-of-the-main-post. So when people type in http://www.mydomain.com, it says the page does not exist.

  How do I get rid of this permalink and just have it return to http://www.mydomain.com? I can’t figure out what happened – and why I lost the clean home page link.

  Figured it out! Had to do with a static option on the Reading element.
