How to embed a website link into a template-created header?
-
Hey folks, I am the media specialist at The Lung Association, Alberta & NWT and I would like to embed a link of our website (http://www.ab.lung.ca) into the logo that’s already in the header?
I have a feeling I will have to create some code for this, but I am open to suggestions.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You are in the wrong forum for support with that version of the software, and need to be at WordPress.ORG for help with that.

That’s not possible. It’s also a deceptive linking practice that Google and other search engines frown on bigtime!
What you can do is create a custom menu and add a custom link to that site into it.

http://poweredbybreathing.com/ is a WordPress.com hosted blog and what I posted applies to it.
http://www.ab.lung.ca/ is not a WordPress.COM hosted blog and what raincoaster posted applies to it.

OK. Thanks. I was to create a link in our logo on PoweredByBreathing.com to our website at ab.lung.ca…
I will try. Thanks Timechief.

Use a custom menu in a theme with a tabbed header, and just link to it. If you must have the image link to the website instead of just a tab link to the website, use a text or image widget in your widgets area.
