How to embed Facebook photo in WordPress?

    Hi there,

I tried to embed Facebook photo in my blog and I failed while I saw the user Krista seemed to be able to make it through. And, I checked the WordPress instructions (URL1, URL2) , it does not work for me, by far. It will be nice if someone here can shed me some light how I can do it, thank you.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

When you say it does not work for you, tell us the error that happens.

raincoster, if you click on both my post and Krista’s post, you can see there is a monkey photo in Krista’s post, but I can not succeed it.

Let me tried to be specific, in the WordPress instruction (URL2), it said:

Make sure that the URL points to a status update, not directly to a photo or photo album (the status update can have a picture attached). If the URL has “post” in it instead of “photo”, that should be fine.

but when I tried to fetched the URL of the example monkey photo in Facebook, I can’t find the URL has a “post”, I only find the URL has a “photo”, but then, where did Krista find the URL with a “post” for the monkey photo? Thank you for your attention.

P.S.: I know that is not a monkey, but I am not familiar with the English word orangutan which I just checked it.

Before there is an answer coming up, this is how I get the jobs done:

    1. Get the photo in Facebook via Pinterest, refer to more info. in the following tutorial:
    2. Copy and paste the link of Pinterest in your WordPress.

It actually works and you get to get all the photos in one place(Pinterest), and getting things around among different social networks – assuming you also a Pinterest users. Here is an example in my recent WordPress blog post.
