How to embed Librarything widget

I am trying to embed the librarything widget into my blog to display selected book covers. It doesn’t seem to be working and I haven’t been able to resolve why.
Is there a way to do this either making the widget work that Librarything provides or some other way?

You cannot use the widget supplied by LibraryThing because it contains javascript and the software will strip the code out as I have said above. However, you can make your own.
You can of course link to your profile or book list or whichever of your pages you want at LibraryThing. Therefore all you need to do is capture an image and then link the image to the URL of the page of yours at LibraryThing that’s appropriate. You can place the linked image you create either in an image widget or a text widget and display it in your sidebar.
