How to embed videos?

  Hi wordpress community,

  i would like to know how to embed videos to my blogpost. I have tried the embed code and it doesn’t work. Please advice.

  Here is a link with some information on adding likes to your WordPress.com site:

  Hi Chelsea!

  thanks for the quick reply. Ya i checked out the page and still lost in finding ways to embed a video player to my blogpost.

  For example i got a embed link like this:

  <IFRAME SRC=”http://vidbull.com/embed-qyr9pnxfpvrx-720×405.html” FRAMEBORDER=0 MARGINWIDTH=0 MARGINHEIGHT=0 SCROLLING=NO WIDTH=720 HEIGHT=425></IFRAME>

  and i paste it on the bottom of my blogpost, it just show the link instead of the video player.

  how do i make the video player to appear?

  When attempting to upload the link in your IFRAME to the Media library as a URL, that file type does not look to be supported.

  It may be something we need to verify with a mod as to whether you can embed this one :-) Your embed syntax looks good but I don’t think that is supported without an upgrade.

  I have added the MODLOOK tag to this posting so we can hang tight and find out.

  If you click on the box for ‘Notify me of followup posts via e-mail’ you will be able to monitor for a response.

  That video is not from a supported source.

  The video embeds in posts and pages that WordPress.com supports for all of our blogs – no upgrade required are found here.

  Video shortcodes are here http://en.support.wordpress.com/shortcodes/#video

  Note to post your own videos requires a videopress upgrade unless they are on youtube or another source site that is supported and the videopress support doc location is https://en.support.wordpress.com/videopress/ As a workaround, keep in mind that you can also upload your media to another service like youtube videos and insert it into your posts from there.
