how to embed youtube video

  following instructions from youtube site does not work. is there a workaround…i’d love to stay on wordpress but i need to be able to embed videos.

  The instructions work well for me. Did you use these instructions? Or did you use the youtube shortcode?

  Which browser and version of it are you using? Have your tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? Any outdated browser can be upgraded here.

  Do you have third party cookies enabled? Do you have another browser you can try?

  The trick is, use the full URL from the top of the browser in YouTube, then in your post, click “Insert” and mouse over till you see the video button. A dialog will pop up for video insertion and yo can paste the URL in there.

  I use the youtube shortcode and have no difficulties at all posting youtube videos.
