  when i click on the page editor on my home page, the right menu pops up and o camt click on padding/margin, background and color, grid and sizing

  Hi there,

  If you click on the gear icon shown in this screenshot, does it reveal the sidebar you are referring to?

  

  Also, to see those settings you will need to click on the specific block. i.e. the sidebar shows the settings available for the currently active block, the one you have clicked on.
