How to enable blog excerpt with my theme?

  Hi,

  Is there any options that I can use to enable the blog excerpt that naturally will show some of the post content with the “Read more” link?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there, after some testing it doesn’t look like the Editor theme has this feature built in, in spite of it’s appearance on the demo site https://editordemo.wordpress.com/

  Also, while there is an excerpt option available in the Post Editor>More Options module, this doesn’t seem to change the front page display on Editor either. However, it is possible that the excerpt is what will be shared on social media.

  It seems then your only option is to manually insert the “More” tag when composing your posts in the Post Editor https://en.support.wordpress.com/more-tag/
