How to enable comments for Hew theme?

  Hi, I’m a new blogger on WordPress and am having some trouble enabling comments for posts on my blog, which uses the free ‘Hew’ theme. I have enabled comments on the Discussions tab, but when I load the main page, there is no option for readers to leave comments at the end of the post. Would appreciate advice on how to fix this. Thank you very much!

  Hi there!

  In addition to the site’s comments settings on the Discussions tab, individual posts and pages have their own settings – so you can override the site setting for individual parts of your site if needed.

  The Discussions tab setting will enable/disable comments for new items that are published after you make the change. For existing posts/pages, you’ll need to update the specific settings for that post/page.
