  Hi,

  QUESTION: WHERE DO I GO TO ENABLE OUTSIDE SCRIPTS ON THE WORDPRESS DASHBOARD?

  CONTEXT: Ive added a Whova widget code to my website, but it never loads and is forever stuck on “loading”.

  Whova support emailed me:

  “We’ve just heard back from our Engineering team and from their inspection, they’ve noted that the following script section is missing from your site when it renders: https://whova.com/static/frontend/xems/js/whova-sponsor-widget.js?eid=indie2_202111&host=https://whova.com

  They’ve asked if you could check if your website disables outside-script or not? ”

  QUESTION: WHERE DO I GO TO ENABLE OUTSIDE SCRIPTS ON THE WORDPRESS DASHBOARD?

  Hey there, it depends on how your site is set up. Can you send a link to it?

  Note we do restrict “scripts” with some of our hosting plans. They just add in an extra layer of complexity re: maintenance and security (which is included with our service), so we only allow them on our Business Plan and up. You can read more about that here:

  That is a self-hosted WordPress.org site, hosted with PowWeb, which we really can’t help with here.

  To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
