How to enable sidebar in the posts’ page?
-
Hello. How do I enable the sidebar to be displayed in the single post page just like the home page?
I’m currently using the Kubric theme:

I think it’s hardcoded not to display in that theme. You might try playing with a few others: I know Dusk will display sidebars on individual post pages.

It’s theme dependent. Each theme is hardcoded by its designer to either display the sidebar on pages or not. The bottom line is that you cannot change it so if it’s important to you then your best bet is to switch themes.
Edit: I just tested this on my test blog and k2 lite theme does display the sidebar on pages. Maybe you could change from kubrick to k2 lite. -
Thanks guys, I switched to the K2 theme and it is fine now.
I found annoying the fact that the background color is hardcoded so even when I change to a red picture, we can see the blue background blinking for a second. But the sidebar makes it better.
Thanks again.

You’re welcome. The only way you can get around the blue background problem is to purchase a css customization upgrade and edit the css yourself ($15 per blog per year).

One of the reasons why I hate most themes based on Kubric, the missing sidebar on the internal pages. *grumble*

OMG – I think you’ve poked a sacred cow with a stick … rounded corners and big blue header … and you want sidebar display on pages too … tsk, tsk

I’m with you and none of those itty bitty sidedishes with my steak dinner pul- lease. I want deep fried shrimp for an appetitizer. I insist on a huge baked potato with butter and sour cream and chives and bacon bits. Then bring on the vegetables and salad in large quantities. When I’ve gnawed the last bit of meat off the bone I will want a coffee and cheesecake.
