How to ensure Facebook includes a link when sharing to Facebook

  When sharing to Facebook with publicize, the Facebook feed does not include a link to the post. This exact issue was described in the question here (https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/facebook-publicize-does-not-include-a-link?replies=4) but the topic has been closed without a resolution. The description of the problem by justintsimpson, and the linked screenshots, exactly describe my problem.

  Hi John,

  This is how Facebook displays posts with galleries when they are shared via Publicize to Facebook. If you don’t like the way they are displayed, you can share the post manually instead. To do that, you can paste a link to the post in a Facebook status update.
