How to enter a short Link?

  I am new at this and I am trying to add a link with a name instead of a long reference.

  For example, instead of typing http://www.box.net/shared/3z9s6d92d9nydikgabey

  I would like to have the person see “Mylink” where it would when the person placed the cursor on “Mylink” and clicked it would take them there without a long note.

  Is that making sense? I have seen code from Markdown that made it simple.

  Any help in this matter would be appeciated.
