How to erase obsolete information from the search engines ?
-
A article from my blog is referenced on search engines. It used to contain private information like my phone number, which I then deleted from my blog.
Here is my blog address : nikolise.wordpress.com/ When you type “Lise Lamarche Nicolas Nouyrigat” the sixth link is our former blog page.
Why is this information still available on the Internet when it’s not on my blog anymore ? How can I erase it ?Thank you,
Yours,

Hello Lise,
Unfortunately deleted blog content may still show in search engine page results (SERPs) for up to 3-6 months until the caches are cleared. Please take a look:http://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/
You could try contacting Google to see if they will remove the page/content.
Can you make Google remove the copy of my blog?
Change your blog privacy settings to prevent search engines from re-indexing your content. We have no control over Google. You may submit a request for removal from the Google index once you have properly configured your blog settings.Best wishes :)
