How to erase the /blog from permalinks

    In the permalinks page the /blog extension is given as a default and cannot be edited, how can I change it?

    Hi, no problem.

    Create a new page with the slug you like.

    Go to My Site > Customize, and click on Front Page Settings. Under posts, pick your new page as the posts page.

    That should do the trick.

    While you’re at it, if you care about permalinks, you can also change the default “Uncategorized” to something more suitable for your site. That’s under My Site > Settings > Writing > Categories.
