how to exclude a page from navigation in structure theme

  I am trying to exclude the child pages from the top navigation under recipes. I want to link to them from my recipes page, but do not want them showing up on the navigation bar.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  My suggestion is to create a custom menu and that way you are in complete control of what shows up and where.
