How to export my wordpress.com to another host and domain?

Hallo,I have had my WP blog, “Runda hörnan”, domain stickansblog.com, in several years. It’s no commercial site, only a site there I, a retired, put in a lot of own nature photos and some others.
Last year I was near max 3 GB, so I bought Personal. Now I would like to export my wordpress,com site to a Swedish host and domain, but here I have got trouble, so now my hope is that you can help me. Have you any guide for transfer such a site? You know, to pay about 1000 SKR is much money for a retired, and for me to move my site, step to step … it’s a really a big work. My site have about 120 pages an more than 2500 pictures. Moreover it could be without success … I have read about Duplicator. Is this right way, and in such a case, how do I get this program?

I had been misunderstanding the cost for my Personal subscription 2018. I had read that my subscription should be much higher for 2019, compared to 2018.
Just now I found a mail, there I could see that I got an offer so my subscription cost for my site should be 360 SEK for 2019, i.e. about 35 $, including cost for my domain! I paid directly, and now I will be staying at wordpress.com. Not move to another host, so I have stopped my work with export of my site.
Now I really hope that I not have been misunderstanding the cost! Can you justjennifer or any other moderator confirm that I’m right here?

Hello again, if you already have a WordPressdotcom plan and purchased a domain as a part of that plan, when it renews next year you will pay for the plan and the domain registration separately.

If I next year have to pay much more for an own domain – I will of cause skip my domain, and only pay pay these 360 SEK, about 35 $, for my site. To have an own domain is not necessary for me. For me it will be okey to have my webbsite with wordpress.com. My site is only for me and my friends – no commercial at all … Hope you know what I mean.
