How to export posts from self-hosted site to wordpress.com

  I’ve just moved my blog to wordpress.com and am having trouble with exporting my posts in a format that wordpress.com can import (i.e. WXR). Problem is that I don’t have access to wp-admin on the old server anymore – only to cpanel – and phpmyadmin doesn’t export to WXR, only XML, CSV etc. Thanks in advance!
