how to find a blog

Hi everybody,
I am a new blogger and I’d like to know how to find other blogs talking about similar subjects as mine (travel journals).
is there any option like that on wordpress? I didn’t find anything

click that “W” on the left of the administrators bar,
and then click the “Tags” tab.On the Tags tab you can select a relevant tag or search with the box.
entering the keyword “Travel” for example
results in:

the example above searches categories an tags.
another way would be to go to Google and search:<em>keywords</em> site:wordpress.comwhere “keywords” would be “travel” “travel journal” , etc.

that would be goto google and search:
keywords site:wordpress.com
substituting the proper keyword.

How can I search for another blogger? I can’t seem to find a friend of mine who suggested I blog on WordPress.

The WordPress.com search engine (found in the admin bar while visiting http://wordpress.com ) indexes the body of posts, not the blog name or author name.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpresscom-search/#missing-postsYou might as well try to find that blog on Google or another search engine instead. Or just ask the person to give you their address :-)
