how to find a specific blog?

I’m trying to find someone’s blog but can’t find a search button for the whole site. Is there such a thing? TIA

There isn’t a generic search feature available in wordpress for all blogs. What you can do is search under “tags” from the main wordpress page, or do a google search by typing:
http://wordpress.com/tag/(insert your tag here)/
In the above example, just type in whatever tag words you think they may have posted under (i.e., sports, weather, business, etc.)
Another alternative is to search for what you think the name of the blog in google and if that alone doesn’t work you can add the word “wordpress” to your search. If the blog you are looking for is called “Joe’s blog” then search ‘joe’s blog wordpress” and it will most likely come up if they have checked the option to make the blog public and to appear on search engines.

yes, thanks much. I just tried it. ‘Wish there was a search within the entire site though but at least I know it’s not me :) Now, if I could just get that black pix to alter properly, I’ll be happy :) Thanks again.

yes on that, wish there was a way to search blogs and from our log-in (dashboard page or account page)
