how do people find my blog on line. Google can’t find it. http://westhawklakeunitedchurch.wordpress.com

Your blog is only four days old. Might take a couple of weeks. Just update regularly and they will find you. You can also directly submit your blog to Google. http://www.google.com/addurl/

thanks, I could not even find it myself. I wasn’t sure i had published it properly. I really only need certain people to find it.Is it found like everything else on the net? I typed the name of the blog in Google and did not get anything.

It will be found when you update more and especially update regularly. Your link in the forum is already listed in Google because the forum is updated dozens of times a day or more. You only have two posts so far and not enough for their crawlers to find you..

Thanks so much for a nice clear answer.I’m starting to understand this a little better. The church blog may sit for awhile …while someone else collects info to add. Will church members be able to find it just by typing westhawklakeunitedchurch.wordpress.com. as you would with a web site?I could not find it that way.

If they Google the words westhawklakeunitedchurch.wordpress.com, they will find the Google link that I posted above to the WordPress.com forum. Once they click that link, it will bring them here and they will see in your first post the link to your blog. Make sure to give them the full address because so far, just the words westhawklakeunitedchurch won’t show up on Google leading to your blog. Or they can place that address in the very top search bar of their browser and it will directly take them to your blog.
By the way I get a kick out of getting help for a church blog from “pornstar” thanks again
