How to find my blog in internet searches, and get the Home page to display?

  Hi. Blog virgin: I’ve just posted my first posts and I now want to let friends and the world see them. When I copy the URL into the browser, the browser says it can’t take me to that page because of a problem with…but when I click on that link it takes me to the About page of my blog. So: how to I get the Home page to appear? My settings are ‘view as public’; and ‘allow search engines to track’. What does one normally do at this delicate time of starting a blog to share it with the world?

  Have you gone through http://learn.wordpress.com yet? It’s the best place to start.

  The more you blog, the faster search engines index you. It can take up to seven weeks to get listed in search engines.
