How To Find Similar Bloggers

Hi. Like I said, virgin blogger here. My biggest problem right now is finding blogs similar to my own or at least in a broader category. The search function seems rather convoluted, or maybe I’m just using it in an inefficient manner. I guess I’m just asking what the best way to find blogs about similar interests and in turn gaining readers of my own blog would be. Sorry if this is extremely newbish. Thanks for any advice in advance.

The search function isn’t the best way. Tags and categories are the best way. When you use tags and categories, they appear on your blog post as links to the global tag pages. Click on those and they’ll show you everyone who’s recently blogged using those tags and categories, as well as on the right-hand side they will have a list of tags and categories that are related to the one you clicked on. Look around and leave comments, but FIRST: link your name to your blog following the instructions in the sticky thread at the top of the forum. That will allow people to click on your name and read your blog, too.
