How to find someone else's blog by name.

    I am trying to find an acquaintance’s blog – she doesn’t remember the URL only that it is named “Someplace Else” and her name is Janet Carter and it is about RVing. There doesn’t seem to be a way to search for blogs.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    The best way for your friend to find her blog is for her to log in at:

    http://wordpress.com

    Once she’s logged in, she’ll be able to click on My Blogs and see the URL of her blog. Once she has that, she can give it to you. If she is having problems remembering her login information, she can fill out the form right here:

    http://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

    Unfortunately I’m not able to provide any information about her blog to anyone but her.

    As far as searching for people go, you can go to your Reader right here:

    http://wordpress.com/#!/read

    And you can click on the Find Friends link on the right. You can search for contacts who might have blogs, and you can also search for specific topics. If your friend has been tagging her posts with the topic of RV or RVing, it should show up there!
