How to find WordPress Dashboard

  In my WordPress site, I stumbled across the site Dashboard once, but I cannot replicate getting back there again. I use the Dashboard from another site that I work with so I know what I am trying to find. So, how do I access the Dashboard for my new site? I thought I would provide a screenshot, but don’t find that feature in this forum.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi seawolf9844,

  If you the WordPress logo in the top left hand corner of your site, you will see the admin bar.

  If you click on the icon labelled “WP admin”, the dashboard will become visible to you.

  Do not see the “WP Admin” icon. Here is what I have done to follow your instructions.
  Test 1
  – Log into https://Wordpress.com
  – I see my recent post. I click the upper left W logo that says My Site
  – That opens up the stats page. Still no “WP Admin”
  Test 2
  – Logged in a viewing my site, I click the upper left W logo that says My Site with Reader logo to the right of it.
  – That opens up a vertical menu. From top to bottom, there is Add New WordPress, View Site, Stats, Publish (pages and blog posts), Personalize (thems and menus), Configure (Sharing, People, Settings, Plugins, Upgrades)
  – Still no WP Admin

  I wish you could see what I am talking about. If you want to do a Join.Me session so you an see my screen, we could do that. This vertical menu has similar features of the Dashboard, but it does not have all the options of the Dashboard.

  Hey seawolf9844,

  Try taking screenshots of what you are seeing and upload them to a image hosting site (such as this: http://postimage.org/). You can then share links of the screenshots for others to see and help you better.

  Hi again seawolf9844,
  Try hovering you mouse pointer WordPress logo and then over the “SWITCH SITE” label that should reveal itself.

  Then, hover your pointer over the website you want to work with.
  The WP admin option should then be available.

  Nope… nothin yet. I am working on another project right now, but I will follow up on israelsgoodname suggestion for screenshots later on. Thanks for the suggestions.
