How to finish without phone nr?

I want to finish without register a phone nr or adresses?… To be fair, i dont use phone anymore, and i havent for 3 years. I only use my computer and facebook.
Im going to make a simple chess page for our smal comunity where i want to make a profile for eatch memeber. is this posible or do i have to go somewhere else?

Well, you’ve already got 1 free site added to the account. That is solfjelletsjakk.wordpress.com.
Is that the one you are looking to use, or do you want to add another?
In order to register a custom domain, contact information is required, that is a regulation that we can’t over ride.
Each member can simply follow the site through their WordPress.com user account. The account could serve as their profile.
Otherwise, you’d need a custom domain and business plan in order to set up a true membership site.

Oh i missunderstood :) Well, yeah, but i world like to not haveing the wordpress into it :P but to change that, to pay for service i must have phone nr, and that i can not do :/ So i will se what i can do with this then :)

Just to clarify, you don’t need a phone number for http://solfjelletsjakk.wordpress.com/ – that site is already yours and you’re welcome to edit it as you please. The only exception is you’ll need to verify your account, but if you haven’t done so already, that can be done via email!

Yes, for removing the “.wordpress” part of the address (therefore purchasing a custom domain), you would need an active phone number. I understand that might be frustrating, and whilst that has to be the case, I wish you the best in figuring a solution.

To add a custom domain you need a phone number, yes, as @torres126 also said above.
When you register a domain you are required to submit detailed contact information to your domain provider, who then submits that info to the registry controlling the domain in question. It’s impossible for us to register a domain for you without that information, and providing false information can lead to a domain being suspended. This is not a requirement from WordPress.com, but is a requirement no matter where you buy a domain.

I’m afraid there is quite literally no way around this.
