-
My WP config:
– WordPress : 4.1.1
– PHP/MySQL : 5.6.3 / 5.6.21
– Themplate : Boardwalk ( https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/boardwalk/ )
– host : localhostHi everybody,
i work on a Boardwalk’s child theme ( https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/boardwalk/ ).The homepage is different slide (.has-post-thumbnail) with horizontal scrolling.
I juste wanna fix the adaptive width of the slide at 600px. So in the stylesheet i put :
.has-post-thumbnail { display: inline-block; min-width : 520px; height : 100%; width : 100%; height: auto; vertical-align: baseline; }It’s work but i don’t know why, now, it display 2 lines of slides. I wanna force them to display on one line like in the parent theme.
Any one had a solution?
i tried to fix it since a long time, it will be really helpfull. Thank you.

When you say you want to fix the width of the slide, are you seeing something that looks broken right now? If I understand better what you’re trying to do it will be easier to help.
Would it be possible to upload a screenshot to help in troubleshooting?
Here’s a guide on how to make a screenshot:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/You can upload the screenshot – in a graphic format like JPG, PNG, or PDF – in your Media Library, and provide a link so I can see it, or upload it with a service like Imgur or Snaggy.

Hi,
Finally i find it by myself, it was set in amount by javascript files ( /js/boardwalk.js ) .
So, you can change the ratio with function site_main_width().

Glad you found a solution.
Boardwalk should be published very soon in the WordPress.org directory, so if you need help in the future you’ll be able to post in its own forum once it goes live:
