How to fix my URLs that changed without me knowing

  • Unknown's avatar

All the URLs on every page of my site have changed from a custom link back to plain permalink structure. I have tried to change it back however nothing happens and there is no option to edit the links in the settings for each individual page.

I have changed all of the in-site links such as buttons to reflect the plan URLs but I want to change it back as it is hurting our SEO.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there!

It looks like the site you need help with uses WordPress.org and is not hosted by us at WordPress.com. You can see that in our Site Profiler here: https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/interquip.us

To clarify, there are two types of WordPress sites: WordPress.com and WordPress.org. Your site uses WordPress.org and is hosted by a different company. WordPress sites hosted on our platform are called WordPress.com sites.

There are some differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. If you aren’t sure about them, please check the following page which has an overview: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org

I’d suggest contacting your hosting provider first to see if they can help. If they point you to WordPress support, you may consider posting on the WordPress.org support forum.

    Thanks!

I acually tried to change the permalink structure back again and it worked the 3rd time around and everything seems to be running smoothly.
