How to fix this spread?
-
I have my article ready to publish, but the title above the picture doesn’t stay where I put it. It spreads outside the area it is supposed to stay in and I’ve done everything I can think of- please help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We can’t really help with unpublished articles. Click on the image and set it to Large size, ie the largest that fits.

No, that is the URL of the blog.
Anyway, the problem is that you are copy pasting from outside WordPress.com and that includes their (horrible, awful) formatting of text and links. Don’t do that. Post original material or at the very least don’t copypaste including their HTML tags.
Go to Settings->Writing and select “WordPress should correct invalid XHTML” and save. Then edit that post and change anything at all: add a period, change it to Private and back to public, anything. Update. Then check and see if it’s fixed it. If it has not, you’re going to have to edit it, click to the text/html editor, and manually strip out every single tag.
In future, use the Paste As Text button so you don’t get stuff like this happening.

Thank you so very, very much! BTW– the problem was on the front page of the blog, otherwise I would have given you it’s personal URL.

Ah, so it doesn’t show that way on the post? Well, the solution is the same and ticking that box will prevent this issue in future.

OK- I couldn’t follow your instructions well enough to fix it that way, but I found another way- I thought it was your problem- sorry ’bout that! Thanks again.
