How to follow a private blog?

I’ve been trying for the last month or so to follow my friend in Cambodia’s blog, I just can’t figure out how!!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

there are quite a few of us that can’t get it set up right, it is a private blog, hopefully one of will figure it ;)

If the blog is Private the blog owner must add you to their blog for you to follow it. Sorry I can’t remember the name of what you would be called, never had a private blog, but I am a member of one and they just sent me some sort of a “you are invited” email through the blog site. Then I just chose the “Follow” option at the top of the screen and now I can see when there are recent Posts with either “Blogs I follow” under the “Me” section of the top bar or “Readomatic” on my Dashboard.
But the blog owner must invite you in for you to follow it.
