How to forward blogs to friends/ Invite email?

On Google blogger they are an option to send your blog’s once posted to like ten different email address’s. Is that possible with wordpress? Or is there a way to invite your friends to your blog page?

I am having trouble with adding the sign up for email notification feature. I am following the instructions through feedburner, and the wicket is fine on my blog, but you can’t enter your email, nor can you click through to anything. through feedburner I seem to be required to create an account with either blogger or linkpad, and I get an error on that page when I try to enter my bog name.
am I missing something? -

I know many people who don’t use RSS readers and they would be happy to get individual blog posts via email. The problem as I see it is that most of the email-to-rss services have tanked lately and the few out there are hardly providing better options. The Feedburner’s daily digest just does not cut it. There is a rumor they might integrate Google Groups with it (I hope so).
It would be truly wonderful if Automatic were to come up with their own solution in this regard. If they can email the consequent blog comments than they can possibly email individual blog posts.
