How to Freeze Header of My Website

  • Unknown's avatar

In the place where I customize the site identity and add in my logo, I’m trying to find a way to freeze the header where my logo is situated at the top of my website. Right now, when I scroll down I automatically see that the header has a white background – I’d like that to be there without scrolling, having it locked there in other words. How can I do that with WordPress? Do I need to add in some code?

Thank you in advance for the help.

  • Hi there,

Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at Bluehost.com.

You should be able to do this by adding some custom CSS code to your site, but what code you need will depend on the specific theme you’re using. Please contact support for the theme you’re using directly for help with this.

For general help with the version of WordPress you’re using, you can ask the WordPress.org community over at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
