how to "freeze" the url so that wordpress.com doesn't appear?

    Hello!
It is not really a problem as much as a question.
I am doing a website for my husband’s business under a wordpress blog format. I have mapped his domain (paulbrent.co.uk) to the wordpress account paulbrent.wordpress.com. The question is as follows: is it possible to “freeze” the url so that when someone visits the website the url doesn’t change into paulbrent.wordpress.com but rather reads paulbrent.co.uk all the time? Is it something I need to configure on the wordpress site, or do I have to enter it into some sort of code in the website itself, or is it even possible to do?
Many many thanks for your help. It is greatly appreciated.

  • Hi there, you can force paulbrent.co.uk to stay in the browser’s address bar by setting it as the primary domain under Store > Domains.

    Domains

I’ve gone ahead and done that for you. Just let us know if you need anything else.
