How to further remove "Search", "Archive" and "meta" from my blog side

Hello,
I’ve removed “Archive” and “Meta” in the Appearance>Widgets>Secondary Widget Area from my blog admin access in wordpress.com. However, it still appears in my blog, can anyone help? http://screencast.com/t/J7Js4Wss . Thanks
Regards

Hi there. It looks like those are appearing in your primary widget area, not the secondary one. Please check there as well. Let me know if you still can’t remove them.

Hi kokkieh, I’ve checked the primary widget area and it’s empty :( http://screencast.com/t/KG0AQgi31

ok, I think I’ve found a solution to workaround it. I simply transfer all my secondary widgets up to the first and they disappear! Thanks for the help. :)

Ah, okay. Just so you understand what was happening: When you create a new blog certain widgets are added automatically, but they won’t show in the widgets screen in the dashboard. The moment you add your own widget, those default widgets disappear. It’s just one of the quirks of the system and nothing we can do about it.
