How to gain access to “write” as an author

I am new to blogging, and just need to know how do I gain access on another bloggers site as an author (wordpress sent me an email stating that I have been added as an author), but when I go to the blog site, there is nowhere to click on “write”. I have sent message to support, but never receive a response. Please help:) Thank you!

You need to log in to that blog, with username and password.

If the Meta widget is enabled on that blog, you can log in from there.

I was told to complete my own registration, go to that blog, and I would be added as an author, so that would be incorrect then. I actually have to have the bloggers user id and password to access ? (just confirming)

Also, what exactly is Meta widget? How do I enable it ?

No, your instructions were correct. Once you have registered (which you obviously have) you should be able to log in to that blog. The Meta widget should be somewhere on the front page of the blog. Use your own ID & password.

The only holdup is if you registered with a different email than the one that the invitation was sent to. If that’s the case, tell the blogger to add you to the blog using the email address that matches your registered ID (powersdb).

That is most likely the issue, as I had to use another email address, since the one registered never sent me the access code (tried 3 times with no success). Let me try registering with the other email again. Thanks all for your help. MUCH faster than tech support. Appreciate it.
