How to get a Multilingual Blog

Dear wordpress team, hope you can help me again, really appreciate your help! I’m startin my blog and i work only with wordpress. I want to write my blog in 3 languages and i found on your support section languages already what i wanna have. Option 3: Two blogs is exactly how i want it, maybe even better if i could choose flags instead of english/german/bahasa indonesia but if its not working with flags that will be all right too! But anyways i dont know how to do it and how you describe it dont actually help me.. Could you help me and tell me in detail what to do? To achieve a Multilingual Blog?! Would really appreciate it if you could help me! Thanks so much.

Hi there,
I’m happy to help you set this up. First, you’ll need to create the individual blogs for each language. So, currently, you have jenniferbachdim.wordpress.com and jenniferbachdimdeutsch.wordpress.com. You’ll need to setup a blog for each language. You can add more blogs to your account following the instructions here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/#adding-new-blog-to-an-existing-account
Then, we’ll need to decide what language you want to be the primary. That will be the blog that has the main domain (jenniferbachdim.com). Other languages will have subdomains like german.jenniferbachdim.com. Does that make sense?
Let’s move forward with those two steps first (getting the individual blogs setup and establishing the primary language). Then, I’ll provide the additional steps!

Thank you for your answer. I’ve made two new blogs, my main blog will be http://www.jenniferbachdim.com in english and i want the site as well in german and indonesian. Thats why i made two new blogs just with the name jenniferbachdimdeutsch and jenniferbachdimindonesia but how i can make the domain like you said it german.jenniferbachdim.com? Sorry for so many questions, but uts the first time for me to get a blog started and i thought wordpress is really nice to do it, but with the more languages is kinda difficult for me ☺️ Thanks so much for your help, hope to hear from you soon

Der jeremey, i’ve set two new blogs now i wanted to change my theme, to the same theme my main blog has. But for my main blog i bought the theme ‘arcade’ and now i’ve got the problem that for my other two blogs i cant choose ‘arcade’ because its saying that i need to buy it. Its not enough to buy it once? I actually have to buy it two more times? Oh and can i copy a blog post from one blog and paste it to the other blog? Thanks before :)

You can set up a subdomain like german.jenniferbachdim.com with this guide: Map a Subdomain
In particular, you’ll want to look at this section: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-subdomain/#adding-a-subdomain-if-your-domain-is-mapped-to-wordpress-com

You will need to purchase any upgrades (like the premium Arcade theme) for each of your blogs if you want to use them there. All upgrades on WordPress.com are per blog, so they can only be used on the blog you purchase them for.
Oh and can i copy a blog post from one blog and paste it to the other blog?
There isn’t a built-in way to copy and paste full blog posts from one blog to another. One way to link to posts on another blog is to use the Reblog feature. Otherwise, you’ll need to manually copy the content and paste it in the other blog.
