how to get access to my domain name?

  it seems that i once created a domain name, but have no access to it anymore. when i want to create a new blog with the same domain name, it says that it is already taken. but it is the name i originally created. what is wrong?

  hkhugentobler.wordpress.com is no longer available.

  The authors have deleted this site.

  As the warnings when you delete it say, deleting is permanent and irreversible. You cannot get it back, ever.

  However, the good news is that you can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Then you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
